Depending on the application Prime Water point of use membrane filters are equipped with:

  • hollow fiber micro-filtration membranes for the removal of bacteria and cysts
  • hollow fiber ultra-filtration membranes  for the removal of  bacteria, cysts and viruses.

For certain applications the membrane filters can be combined with activated carbon for the removal of dissolved contaminants that affect taste and odor.
